SCORES FROM AROUND THE FIELD 7th & 8th AUGUST

Another big weekend of games at the Beegees club! Thanks for everyone that helped out this weekend. The weather was kind to us again this weekend - with only 2 teams having to cancel their game at away fields. Mini-roos teams are enjoying their Saturday sport - don't forget next weekend to bring some coins and get a sausage sizzle/ lollies or raffle ticket on the top oval BBQ. Our U10's teams played an exciting game under the winters sun against each other - well done to all! If you haven't already picked up your raffle tickets - make sure you grab them this coming weekend - there are some great prizes to be won. It will be drawn on 26th September during our last Senior men home game for the season. We are going to try raffling off a meat tray & fruit tray at the Saturday night home game - bring some coins to win either a great meat tray from Barry Butchers or fruit tray from Matilda fruit barn. This weekend we did a 'quick' meat tray - our very own Lisa Milgate who sat on our Beegees raffle stand for most of the day won the meat tray! This year we have many things extra to do with COVID and all the help is required. We only have another 7 weekends of home games we need to find volunteers for canteens & BBQ + cleaning - it would be great to get some more volunteers help us out! Thank you to all the people sending in photos of their teams/players - the weekend album will be posted this afternoon - so if you have got a good photo you want to add from this weekend send it through.
